This is going to be one of those gigs She'll remember years from now. She can feel it. The audience is into it. She's into it. It's all good.
She can just really feel the music flow through her tonight.
She's still feeling it as she starts to her violin set. She practically forgets about the crowd. She can almost imagine it's just her back in the studio. She always performs her best when in that mindset. There's something about playing music that lets the crowd just melt away.
But about halfway through her guitar set, she happens to notice someone she didn't really expect to see tonight. He's sitting near the back of the room. She's surprised, but happy to see him.
It has to be a good sign that he's getting out of the house again. As soon as I'm done with this song I'm going to go ahead and take my break.

"Thanks. You guys are great. And the show's not over yet. I'll be back in ten. And as always if you like my music... the name's Dani Pringle, and my newest album is called Lovely Not Lonely. You can find it on Simtunes."
Dani heads straight towards her big brother when she steps off the stage.

"Hey-hey, Ben! It's so good to see you... How ya doin'?"
"Er... you know... But tonight I decided I needed a change. So here I am!"
Dani thinks to herself that Ben's smile seems a little forced, but at least he's trying. And perhaps sensing that he would rather focus on something other than his recent breakup, Dani changes the direction of the conversation.

"Say, have you seen Emma lately?" Dani instantly wishes she could take the question back. This is definitely something she should talk to Emma about directly rather than making it a topic for family gossip.
But luckily Ben didn't notice the slight implication that there was something going on with their youngest sister. "No, why?" is his only response.
"Oh-- nothing really, I just thought she might come tonight, but I haven't seen her." Dani hopes the little white lie will suffice.
"I haven't seen her. She was supposed to be here? I hope everything is okay." Ben seems concerned.
"No, no. We didn't have definite plans or anything. Don't worry. But anyway, I should probably go. I need to take a bathroom break and grab a drink before I head back on stage. I'll see you after my show okay?"
"Actually I have to work tomorrow, so I'll probably head home before you're finished. You sound great up there, by the way."
"Aw thanks, bro. I guess I'll see you Saturday then. And quick give me hug before I duck into the ladies room."
