The twins, Clara and Celia had a complete turn around in their attitudes toward Osmond. The girls still have their moments of rudeness or emotional outburst (they are still teenagers after all), but they have been making an effort to welcome Osmond to the family as their step-dad. They also decided to take on a few extra chores around the house to make up for their previous behavior. Their room has never been cleaner, and they've even taken up the least favorite chore in the house: bathroom cleaning.
Dani is the more easy going of all of her children. She never complains about anything nor causes any trouble. Ana has thought that maybe Dani tries to stay in the background and doesn't get as much attention as the other kids in this big family. But don't worry Ana has plans to spend some one on one time with her adopted daughter soon.
Little Emma is in some ways Dani's opposite. She always tries to be the center of attention. Luckily Emma is really close to her big brother, Brandon. Often he can be seen playing dolls with Emma just so the newlyweds can have a little alone time.
When not playing with his little sister, Brandon has been trying to help out around the house more lately. I guess the teenagers all decided to give their parents some household chore-free time as a wedding present.
Ana and Osmond really appreciate the kids' thoughtfulness.
Unfortunately, one day not too long after the wedding, Brandon has a major accident in the kitchen while trying to fix breakfast for the family....
Also lucky that everyone is already awake this morning, and the whole family is able to get to safety.
Unluckily the rest of the fire is spreading too quickly for the extinguisher to do much good. The house is heavily damaged. The entire kitchen, both bathrooms, the master bedroom, and part of the living room are completely ruined. Much of the rest of house is saved from the flames themselves, but still had some smoke damage.
In the end, Ana is able to salvage few belongings from the house. The damage is so extensive that Ana and Osmond decide against repairing the damage. Instead they decide to demolish the remainder of the structure and begin plans to rebuild.
Part of her feels as empty as the lot. Part of her feels sad; gone is the house where she had watched her children grow. But part of her also feels hopeful and excited for the future.
Thanks to the insurance policy and their savings, the Pringle family will be able to build a new house bigger than the old one.

She is of course excited and enthusiastic about picking out paint colors and other things for the new house. Her creative side is shining through. Ana is completely in her element.
Though the construction seemed to take forever, the house is actually completed pretty quickly.

Before the family knows it everything is complete.
The backyard itself is a bit bare; funds started running a little low. The yard and decor of some rooms will have to be finished after they save up some more simoleons.
Never one to dwell on the negative, Ana is beyond proud of many parts of the house that are finished.
And she will be doing most of the cooking herself for a while. They're all a little nervous for Brandon to go near the stove. No one is likely to forget the fire any time soon.
We'll see the rest of the house when Ana and the family have had time to finish unpacking.
For now Ana and Osmond are enjoying a nice meal on the back porch.
