It was getting late, and Ana had just said waved goodbye to Blake. He was the last to leave after today's barbeque. She lingered on the porch for just a minute, simply thinking about the day and soaking in the beautiful night.
Then she headed inside to join Osmond in the living room.

"So, Grandma, today was a darn good day, wasn't it?" Osmond asks.
"Sure was. When was the last time we all got together when except for the holidays? It was so much fun." Ana is still feeling jubilant. She only seems to find this much happiness by being surrounded by family.
"But on the other hand, I'm glad it's over... I'm exhausted." She laughs.
"Not too tired, I hope. The night's still young, even if we aren't. Don't get me wrong I'm ready to go to bed, but not to go to sleep."
"Oh, you old, dog." Ana giggles.
"Like I said, I am tired....
"But not too tired."
"Oh, I know that look. You don't have to convince me. But first... let me grab the tablet. I wanted to look at the pictures everyone took today before going to bed."
Ana reaches over to pick up the table off the coffee table. Then she and Osmond look through the new album.

"Well, that was the last one." Ana says.
The couple is feeling very happy in this moment and very proud of their big happy family. After Ana sets the tablet back on the coffee table, Osmond reaches over and takes one of her hands in both of his.

"It's hard to believe there was a time in my life, before I met you, when I thought I would never have the big family I always wanted. Now I have a bigger family than I ever imagined, and I wouldn't have it any other way. Ana, I love you so much. Even after all this time I'm thankful every day for having you in my life."
Ana places her free hand atop Osmond's. "Oh, I love you, too! I can't believe there was a time when I thought I'd never get married. You changed all that. My family wasn't complete before I met you. And just look at how much it's grown since. We really did build quite the life together, didn't we, hun?"
"Indeed we did." Osmond agrees.
"And it's been a great ride."
