Honestly, Ana had know idea what Osmond had planned.
But when she realized he was taking her to the same park they had visited on the night they met, she began to have some suspicions.
And when he sat them down on the very same bench they had sat that night, her suspicions grew stronger.
When he excused himself with a quick, "I'll be right back." Ana found herself waiting for his return with a very strong case of butterflies fluttering in her belly.
Luckily Osmond doesn't leave her waiting for long. When he returns he does in fact have a little surprise gift. He pulls from behind his back....

A single, long-stemmed rose.
Ana tries not to let her disappointment show. Meanwhile thinking to herself:
Who would have ever thought I'd be disappointed by the lack of a wedding proposal. What happened to me never wanting to get married. Times change, I suppose. But goodness, I shouldn't be disappointed. Osmond is obviously making every effort to keep the romance alive here.
So she accepts the rose with a smile.

Then she accepts a kiss on the cheek. And before pulling away Osmond whispers, "Do you have any idea how much I love you, Ana?"
There's something different in his voice...
Before she can contemplate this too much he pulls her in for a real kiss.

They gaze into one another's eyes when the kiss ends.
There's something different about the look in his eyes too...
This time Ana's suspicions don't have time to fully form before Osmond drops to one knee.

And pulls out a beautiful diamond ring.
"I love you more than I thought it was possible to love someone. I've never felt anything like this before. Will you marry me?" And then before she has a chance to answer, he adds, "I'm really hoping you say, 'Yes'."

Of course she says, "Yes!"
The rest of the family is thrilled to hear the news; Celia and Clara's attitudes have greatly improved. In fact the girls are all for starting the wedding planning immediately.
And they do start planning. But it is quickly decided that they will wait until baby Emma is old enough to attend the wedding.
And in seemingly no time her birthday has arrived.

And in seemingly no time her birthday has arrived.
She still has her dad wrapped around her little finger. I'm sure it will always be that way.
Just as she will always be his little girl.
After the birthday celebration is over, Ana and Osmond focus again on their upcoming nuptials.
They find the perfect location. They set the date. And the days leading up to the event pass with lightning speed.

When the big day arrives, Ana is relieved that the weather is perfect.
Ana wears a champagne colored gown. She keeps fussing with her appearance even after Bridget had applied the last touch of make-up.
It takes reassurances from all her daughters that she looks perfect to convince Ana to quit primping.

Then all there is to do is wait...nervously. I just wish I could see Osmond.
But the couple had decided to do at least this part traditionally, and she would not see him until she walks down the isle.

The wait seems to take forever, though later Ana would swear the day flew by. The walk down the isle passes in a blur for her.
But she will always remember how she felt when she sees Osmond standing beneath the arch waiting for her.
The ceremony itself is very simple. The vows, which are short and sweet.
The rings.
The kiss.
Then the guests shower them with confetti.
After the ceremony, it's reception time.

When it's time to cut the cake, some of Ana's kids can't resist breaking out more confetti.
Emma in particular is very happy. I'm not sure if she is happy for her parents or if she's just a kid enjoying the simple pleasure of being allowed to make a mess without getting in trouble.
One of the guests, who perhaps had one too many drinks from the juice bar even stands up and sings as Ana and Osmond are about to feed each other the traditional bite of cake.
"You better not be thinking what I think you're thinking." Osmond says just before they trade bites.
"What?" Ana asks, trying to act innocent.
"Oh dear wife, you know what I'm talking about. Keep the cake off my face okay?"
"I will if you will."

They both resist the mischievous urge and get through the traditional moment with out getting cake on either of their faces.
As the party continues, the couple dances the night away.
And even though they are surrounded by their family and friends, for most of the night Ana and Osmond are so caught up in the moment that it feels like they are the only two Sims in the world.
