Ana meant it when she promised her friend, Tina, that she would start making some time for herself. That's exactly what she's been doing lately.
She's been doing a lot of things that she just wants to do rather than just the things that she has to do.

She's still jogging every day with Bridget. They're both really enjoying it now. And they have started seeing the results of the exercise in their waistlines.
But most often doing what she wants means spending time with Tina. The two women always have so much fun together. They're both single mothers, and they both work from home. So they always make an hour or two to see each other every week.
One day their visit turned into a dance party of two.

"This is so much fun. Why don't we do this more often?"
"Ana, you're out of step."
"Better?"
"Perfect."
"Perfect."
"Check me out. I'm playing the air piano."
"That's...something, Ana, but check out this move."

"I call this one the 'I have no idea what I'm doing.'" Ana demonstrates her new dance.
"You've got that right." But Tina tries it out anyway.
Sometimes it's just fun to be silly with your best friend. You're comfortable doing something you would never do in front of anyone else.

Ana also has found herself wanting to find a man. Her feelings on marriage might have been changing while she was with Arthur, but if anything after his death she's more certain she won't end up marrying anyone. Not that she's completely against the idea anymore, but she feels like if she was going to marry anyone it would have been Arthur.
Still she wouldn't mind having someone to spend some time with romantically.
So Ana signs up for one of those online dating sites. After sifting through the large amount of creepy profiles, she manages to find a few guys that she thinks would be worth meeting.

The first guy gave her bad vibes from the moment they sat down waiting on their table at the restaurant. She couldn't tell you what it was, but maybe that scarf made her think he was trying to hard.
Her instincts proved correct. This was no match made in heaven. The creep started slipping some dirty innuendo into the conversation before the food even arrived.
Ana gets more and more uncomfortable as the dinner goes on. As soon as the check arrives she says goodbye and gets out of there as fast as she can.

The next guy looked promising. Handsome. Charismatic. They were having a good conversation when he ordered his first drink.
All his good qualities left the building soon after that. The guys turned out to be a bit of a mean drunk.
The last guy she met had suggested something a little different for the first date, the gym. Ana was feeling just confident enough from her daily jogs to agree to this.
She even bought what she thought was a cute, gym-appropriate outfit for the occasion.
Guy number three was a little bit younger than her, but that's not what doomed this date.

Right after saying hello he said, "You looked thinner on your profile."
Ana didn't say another word, though she might have aimed a rude hand gesture his way on her way out the door.

Tina's reaction when Ana told her about guy number three was great. "Ugh. No way. Sounds like a real winner."
"Ana, why don't you let me set you up with someone. I think I know someone who would be perfect for you."
"I don't know, Tina. A blind date?..."
"Oh Watcher." Tina says. "Look, girl, those guys you've met online dating...that's been little more than blind dates, right?"
"I guess you have a point."
"So why not try something different? It's not like you've got to agree to marry the man before you meet him."

"Well...alright. But what's his name?"
"Osmond Marshall. He's right around your age. He's never been married. No kids, but I know he wanted them."
"He's never been married? I wonder why?"
"Don't you go trying to come up with some reason not to meet him. You've never been married yourself, Missy."
"Fair enough."
Tina lets Ana know the next day that Osmond has agreed to the blind date too. The date is set.
